At the very entrance to Veliko Trgovišće, lies the birthplace of the first Croatian President − Dr. Franjo Tuđman. The house was renovated by the Croatian State Testament Foundation and opened to the public in 1999. The house consists of four thematically divided units that depict the life of Franjo Tuđman and his family. Beside the house is a bust of Franjo Tudjman, the work of the sculptor Kruno Bošnjak.
